Em Moçambique, a construção de habitação própria, desde que de estrutura simples, não exige grande burocracia. É suficiente obter uma licença camarária e contar com profissionais experientes na área, mesmo que não possuam formação académica formal. Com base nesta realidade, e embora não seja arquiteto, elaborei o projeto da casa destinada à família Locádia, conforme ilustrado nas imagens que apresento a seguir:
In Mozambique, the construction of private homes, as long as they are of simple structure, does not require much bureaucracy. It is enough to obtain a municipal license and rely on experienced professionals in the field, even if they do not have formal academic qualifications. Based on this reality, and although I am not an architect, I designed the house intended for the Locádia family, as illustrated in the images I present below:

With the support of generous people, this will become the new home of Locádia and her children — a profound change in their lives. They will leave behind precarious housing, lacking even the minimum conditions of habitability and safety, for which they still pay a high rent, as I have shown before.
